Course Summary: Gently undulating triangular course; uphill bend to last tests stamina when soft, but short-runners often win on good or firm; fences beautifully built; sandy soil drains well, but can be wet at bottom near water jump; some old racecourse facilities including stables still available; some of the permanent buildings have newly tiled roofs and the whole place looks smart. Best viewing from central hill via unique subway. Car parking excellent, access and exits good. Looked to have a very bleak future in '02, but under new management since and its future seems secure.
