19 January 2012 Update from Jedforest Point-to-Point, Sunday 29th January
With all guns blazing for their 2012 fixture the Jedforest Hunt have an exciting new addition in the form of a Sunday Carvery Lunch Tent.
The heated tent will serve a Sunday Carvery Lunch while guests can enjoy live televised racing and listen to the guest tipster as to which horses to follow all from the comfort of their table. At £38 a ticket, including free entry and race card, it provides fantastic value for money.
The undulating course at Friars Haugh is reported to be in excellent condition by Course Manager Jamie Innes, having been aggravated last year. The course will provide the ideal test for the AGA sponsored Ladies Open, qualifying horses for the AGA Hunter Chase Final at Cheltenham, against the lovely backdrop of Floors Castle and the Tweed.
As the first Scottish Point-to-Point of the season there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Tickets for the Sunday Carvery Lunch Tent can be bought by contacting Kirsty Fitzgerald: kirsty@itfitzmarketing.co.uk; 07949 712843.
