Rhys Flint, 17, from Kenfig Hill, who equalled the seasonal record number of wins for a novice rider when chalking-up his 25th winner recently, had high hopes of setting a record at the Pembrokeshire Hunt Point-to-Point last Saturday on a horse called Mvezo which for the past three weeks has been trained by his mother Martine. Rhys Flint, 17, chalked-up his 25th Point-to-Point winner of the season when landing the Novice Riders' race on Iris's Prince at the Countryside Alliance (Wales) meeting at Bonvilston on Sunday and in doing so has equalled the number of seasonal wins for a novice rider set by Nick Scholfield last season.
