Another talented Welsh amateur rider has ridden a winner just days after becoming a conditional jockey.

Ben Jones scored on Field Exhibition at Newton Abbot yesterday, adding to the success on Saturday of fellow Welshmen Jack Tudor, Britain's Fuller's national novice men's champion who got off the mark as a conditional jockey at Market Rasen on Saturday.

Jones, 19, the son of Ffos Las clerk of the course Dai and his wife Emma, rode Field Exhibition for Chepstow trainer Grace Harris. During the latest point-to-point season he rode 19 winners, and a total of 35 in three seasons on the circuit.
