Information for Stewards & Officials

Becoming an Official

There are various recommendations for those wishing to become a Point-to-Point Official, and full guidelines can be given to you by the current meeting organisers, but it is recommended that as many members of the panel as possible should have experience of riding under Rules or at a Point-to-Point, and as many members as possible should have experience acting as a steward on a licensed racecourse. However, it is only essential that the Chairman of the panel should have these experiences.

If you are interested and would like to find out more about how you can become an official, please contact your local area or meeting. Click here for a list of the Area representives
