The Point-to-Point Racing Company (PTPRC)
The Point-to-Point Racing Company (PTPRC) provides an administrative role to Point-to-Pointing, and is based in Northamptonshire. During the season it provides an entries service for approximately 110 racemeets, and assistance to those remaining Point-to-Points that take their own entries. It checks and qualifies all Point-to-Point meetings, (approximately 145 through the season) confirming race eligibility for all entries made and allocating penalties as due. Alongside this work, in association with Weatherbys Printing Services, it produces approximately 101 Point-to-Point racecards through the season, and with a team of correspondents based in the field supplies results for all meetings at the weekends. It deals with the administration of the Point-to-Points on behalf of the various meetings' secretaries, who then organise and promote their own Point-to-Point meetings local to where they are and are the first port of call for enquiries about their event. Through the season the PTPRC also produces the weekly Loose Leaf Form Guide, a weekly e-ratings service, the weekly e-magazine GoPointing, and manages and hosts the national website www.pointtopoint.co.uk
