As the 2024–25 point-to-point season gallops toward a thrilling finale, this weekend marks the climax of British grassroots jump racing: The National Championships Weekend. With five fixtures across three days and final declarations due Monday, title hopes and leaderboard dreams all hinge on these last 30 races.

Dingley, Market Harborough, Leicestershire (2pm, 6 races)
Ffynnon Druidion, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire (2pm, 6 races)
Sunday 25 May
Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire (2:30pm, 6 races)
Monday 26 May
Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire (2pm, 6 races)
Upcott Cross, Devon (2pm, 6 races)
Goffs Ladies’ Championship
Gina Andrews looks unstoppable as she closes in on her seventh national title, sitting on 26 wins a commanding lead over Izzie Hill on 17. Andrews’ consistency, horsemanship, and dedication remain the benchmark.
Tattersalls Cheltenham Men’s Championship
James King heads the table with 50 wins, but Josh Newman remains in contention on 44. A bold weekend from Newman could keep the pressure on until the very last race.
Highflyer Bloodstock Ladies’ Novice Rider
A real thriller is unfolding between Clara Brewitt and Marina Bealby, both locked on 7 winners. Brewitt currently leads on countback thanks to five second-place finishes to Bealby’s one but if Bealby grabs a win this weekend, she could snatch the title.
Highflyer Bloodstock Men’s Novice Rider
The title is already settled, R. Corcoran is the 2025 Leading Men’s Novice Rider, with an impressive 22 winners to his name, well clear of his rivals. But the race for second is on: J. Shaw currently holds the spot on 12 wins, but Tom Hutsby, with 11, could leapfrog him with a strong weekend.
Oriental Club leading Trainer (5 or fewer horses)
Yorkshire's Alice Dawson leads Ashley Bealby and Liam Corcoran by three winners, neither able to close in on Dawson but either could secure second place. Corcoran has had more seconds on countback but Bealby's Precious Bounty holds numerous weekend entries.
Foran Equine leading trainer (6 to 14 horses)
Jennifer Owen leads on 13 winners to Harry Ryall on 12. Owen’s Ragnor Lodbrok holds an entry at Dingley and could extend her lead in this division. Nicholas Wright who is in third , one behind Ryall has one entry over the weekend compared to Ryall's none. However on countback Ryall has more seconds so is in no danger of losing his runner-up spot.
Foran Equine Leading Trainer (15 or more horses)
A mighty dual between two of the largest and successful yards in the country. Gina Andrews has put in a mighty effort in her first season training in an attempt to beat last seasons’ champion Josh Newman. Newman had a flying start and goes into the final weekend three ahead.
Connolly’s Red Mills Leading Horse
The fight for the Connolly’s Red Mills Leading Horse title is set for a blockbuster finish. El Capitaine, trained by Josh Newman, leads the standings with 7 wins and 1 second, giving him the edge on countback. He holds three entries this weekend, all at Kingston Blount on Sunday. Hot on his heels is Inchidaly Robin, also on 7 wins. However, Inchidaly Robin holds a mighty four entries across the weekend - offering every opportunity to land a crucial eighth win and snatch the title in the final moments of the season.

In the event of a tie in any category, the winner will be decided by second placings. If it is still tied, third, then fourth placings will decide the winner.
Walkovers will again not count towards any National Championship in 2024-25.
