Dunsmore provides new course for Devon & Cornwall this season

  • Posted: Wednesday, 21st August 2019

The Devon & Cornwall Area are pleased to welcome a new course to their ranks with the inauguration of Dunsmore.

It will be a fairly flat course, oval and left-handed. It will have two-and-three-quarter (2 ¾) circuits over 18 jumps, with portable fences.

The course is situated near the village of Silverton, eight miles north of Exeter, south west of Cullompton, and, as can be seen from the photos (minus fences at this stage), promises to be another scenic venue for both participants and racegoers alike.

The course will initially host the Silverton Club meeting on Sunday 17th November, the first day of the 2019-20 season and then again on Easter Saturday (11th April) when the Silverton Foxhounds will avail themselves of the beautiful setting for their meeting.
